Program Producer
Alison Snyder is a scientist-cum-journalist whose writing has appeared in Scientific American, The Scientist, and The Lancet. She graduated from the Massachussets Institute of Technology in Cambridge with a degree in chemical engineering, and spent the next year-and-a-half studying botany at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, on a Fulbright scholarship. After earning a master’s degree in science journalism at New York University, she worked for the PBS series NOVA scienceNOW before joining the Festival as a program producer.
